1st\NW Quadrant of The Approval Matrix: Week of January 21, 2008

Well, according to ESPN, " Bert Blyleven wasn't terribly great at any one thing, but his panoply of skills allowed him to put up a remarkably consistent 22-year career. His won-loss record (287-250) isn't stellar, but he's fifth all-time in career strikeouts (3,701) and ninth in shutouts (60). Blyleven was only picked for two All-Star Games and never won a Cy Young award."
